Trouble Sleeping

I haven't been sleeping too well the past few nights. I usually read myself to sleep, but I started a new book that is actually keeping me awake! It's called Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer (a BYU grad--shout out for the cougs!). Has anyone read it that wants to discuss? I was up until after 4am last night, totally engrossed. Yes, it is a novel written for and about young adults, but I am totally sucked in to the romance of two seventeen year-olds. Can I use pregnancy as an excuse for being this emotionally involved? Speaking of pregnancy, I kept getting hunger pains and thinking of good things to eat: pizza, grilled cheese sandwich, cereal (darn it we're out)!...but I couldn't tear myself away from my reading to get a past-midnight snack! Sometimes it's such a bother when my pregnant self gets so hungry in the middle of the night that I can't sleep. Not to mention the baby doing cartwheels. OK, my work for the day is done and I'm heading to bed to begin another sleepless night...

I haven't read it, but I keep hearing about it. Maybe I will give it a read after I'm done with Reading Lolita in Tehran.

Jen...good luck. Just consider your sleep gone until you finish the series. Seriously. They just suck you in.

That is such a great book. The second one is even better. I have the third one now, but I am waiting for my life to slow down so that I can set aside 2 days to finish. I have heard it just gets better. Good luck!

Awww... to be pregnant again... you cutie! So fun though right? I remember those cravings. You feel like a little kid with your cravings of kid foods but you're only pregnant for a little bit. I hope you sleep better soon so you can get more energy when your sweet baby is born!

Okay, so I think your sleeping problem is probably due to reading a great book, but if it's not, then I highly recommend a body pillow -- it saved my life while I was pregnant!

I think we should get her the boyfriend pillow. If you look at the time stamp on this post it makes sense.
