"P" is for puppet

Some friends and I trade-off hosting and teaching "ABC" school for our kids each week. A few weeks ago, it was my turn to teach the letter "P." We read and watched Peter and the Wolf, made popcorn while singing "popcorn popping on the apricot tree", painted scenery for our puppet theater, and performed a puppet show of Peter and the Wolf. I guess it takes a lot of initiative to get over the inertia of planning and executing projects like this, but I'm glad the ABC school gives me the nudge I need to do it. I realized how much fun we all had and it's something I need to do more often!
