My mommies' group took a field trip to the pumpkin patch last week. We had so much fun riding the train and checking out the pumpkins! The petting zoo was another attraction...London was content to watch the animals from outside. It's probably for the best that she is scared of petting random farm animals at a young age.
The other exciting news from this week is Tim took me on a date!! He surprised me by arranging the babysitter and told me to dress up and meet him in the city. He took me out to dinner at a nice little seafood restaurant and then to the opera! I don't consider opera really my thing, but it was a great experience. We saw the world premier of an opera about the Civil War called "Appomatox." I enjoyed learning more of the history, although the music and mood were pretty dark. The refrain was "War is sorrowful, and this war the most sorrowful of all..." Kind of a downer, but it was cool to hear the singers do opera with a Southern accent! Thanks for a great night, Tim!

Surprise dates are the best. And adorable pictures Jen! London is so cute and you are so cute pregnant!
Very sweet of Tim! I'm sure a night out on the town was precisely what the doctor ordered!
you have the best hubbie! how sweet that he surprised you! london is such a cutie pie! and oh my gosh! you look like you stuffed a little pumpkin under your shirt! because other than that, you don't look preggo at all! can you hear the envy?
are you sure you are pregnant? I think you are using a pumpkin to fool us all, cause your little belly looks too perfect to be real! And wow - a surprise date. I can't remember the last time I had a surprise date. Can Tim give Trent a call? :)
Way to go Tim for arranging the bbsitter! I think that is the biggest pain, aud it is so nice to do it now before your little munchkin comes! We still need to do our pumpkin patch run. . . your pictures got me excited! London's adorable!
What a cute little mommy-to-be you are. When you are out this way visiting your dad please call, because I have come to terms that long travels (over 20 miles) aren't happening anytime soon for the McMillans. How sad is my life! I really want Scott & London to play. They did have a romance going on about 18 months ago.
