Aunt Kierstin to the Rescue!!

Thank you all for your supportive comments! I am so fortunate to have friends like you to boost my morale and tell me how it will be on the other side of all this chaos! Thankfully, my angel sister came across the country from Connecticut to help me out this week. As a veteran mother of 3 kids, she knew exactly what to do. While she took care of the girls and other household chores...Here is what I was doing!

I got to take advantage of the spa gift certificate Tim gave me for Valentine's Day! It was also great fun having Kier here to watch American Idol and Lost with at night. She also stayed home one night while Tim and I went shopping for a new mattress (to replace the one we got for $100 at DI when we were first married). We got a great deal that Sleep Train matched from an online sale. The sales associate was visibly disturbed she had to honor it. I even got her to throw in $200 sheets because I overheard her give them to the couple ahead of us. How great is it when you make a large purchase and when you leave it's the sales person who feels like she got taken rather than you?! So here is our new king bed in all its glory, along with a new comforter & shams:
Thank you a thousand times over, Kier!

That is so nice your sister was able to come out. . . AND you got to go to the spa! You know, you always have an extra little bounce in your step with you do something completely self-indulgent. You derserve it! (that is always what I tell myself when I start to feel guilty about it!) And, your bedding is BEAUTIFUL!!

Your bed makes me want to sleep. I think if I had a bed like that I would have way too hard of a time getting up and kicking kids out of it when they should be sleeping in their cribs.

Love the spa pic - you look RELAXED! You are so lucky you have a sis that does that for you! What a blessing! I'm glad things are going better. Can't wait to hear more about the chaos and all!
