For the little girl who loves pink, the "3 little pigs", and is turning 3, what could be a more appropriate theme?
Tim and I performed a puppet show of the 3 little pigs with homemade puppets and puppet theater. London was completely enthralled and actually singing along. She had memorized the Disney song in the car all the way home from our trip to Disneyland. How do I feel that my daughter likes the pigs more than the princesses? Just fine. It just shows that she:
a) likes pink, but is not obsessed with dresses and shoes
b) is not biased against creatures that like to eat a lot
c) understands the value of work ethic and sound construction practices
d) is NOT afraid of the big, bad, wolf (most of the time)

There was an addendum to the evite requesting guests to wear pink. We appreciated those that did, even if they were boys.
Baby sister is having just as much fun as big sister!
Watching the lighting of the candles in anticipation...
Let the blowing begin! (If you look closely, the adults in the background are blowing as well.)
Huff, puff, and BLOW the candles out!
Some children enjoyed cake.
Others enjoyed carrots. (She makes her dietitian mother so proud!) Pigs in a blanket were also served, and were devoured at a rather piggish rate. That's why I don't have a picture of them.

The pack-n-play for dolls was the favorite gift. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with us!!
